2005 White Limestone Chardonnay
This is an intense, tightly woven Chardonnay with minerally flavours of citrus, melon and white peach, poised against lovely French oak and hints of malolactic characters. It is a finely balanced, satisfying wine.
Our Chardonnay vines were grown from cuttings originally collected in Burgundy’s best Grand Cru vineyards by Professor Bernard of Dijon and are now established in a unique area of white limestone soil at the Amietta Vineyard on the edge of the Moorabool Valley near Bannockburn.
